Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Healthcare Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting household visits in assigned communities to screen individuals for malnutrition using hemoglobin rapid test kits and BMI assessments. This involves conducting app-based smart point-of-care diagnosis (POCD) for health and nutrition screening using mobile TAB, providing nutrition education and counseling, including AI-based dietary suggestions through DietAI, connecting screened individuals with Teledoctors for remote medical consultations, and providing nutritional supplementation to malnourished individuals based on screening results.

This role requires excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills, as well as prior experience in urban or slum settings. Comfortable with digital tools and app-based reporting is essential. Prior experience with data collection for research projects is a plus.

Educational Requirements:
  • A qualified Medical Assistant/Nurse from a recognized public or private training institute.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct household visits in assigned communities.
  • Screen individuals for malnutrition using hemoglobin rapid test kits and BMI assessments.
  • Conduct app-based smart point-of-care diagnosis (POCD) for health and nutrition screening.
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling.
  • Connect screened individuals with Teledoctors for remote medical consultations.
  • Provide nutritional supplementation to malnourished individuals.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential health records.
  • Coordinate with project supervisors and clinic staff.
