System Administration and Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled system administration and engineering professional to fill this key role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing fixes.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on tasks.
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux-based environments is essential.
  • Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks is necessary.
  • Solid Cloud experience and knowledge of virtualization and containerization are also required.
  • Experience with monitoring systems and automation software is needed.
  • Solid scripting skills and networking knowledge are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration and engineering, with experience in managing and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure, and will play a key part in designing and implementing new systems and solutions. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve technical issues, and will be responsible for writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency.
