Job Summary
">- A senior software engineer is responsible for developing server-side web application logic using PHP.
- PHP developers usually develop back-end components and integrate them with front-end applications.
Responsibilities
">- Analyze business requirements to estimate assigned tasks and write code.
- Collaborate with team members to tune code for security and performance.
- Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue tracking software.
- Provide status updates and communicate with clients.
- Control versions of your code, research new technologies, and lead a team of software engineers.
- Mentor team members through training and guidance, and evaluate candidates for open positions.
Requirements
">- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
- At least four years of experience in a professional industry as a software engineer.
- Strong knowledge of core PHP, MVC frameworks, Yii, and WordPress.
- Familiarity with JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, relational databases, schemaless databases, and unit testing.
- Understanding of security standards, compliance, and GitHub, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
