About The Company

A fully remote team working from all parts of the world, with two main hubs being Austin, TX and Berlin, Germany. We hold daily standup calls and work mostly asynchronously apart from that. We continue testing new tools to ensure we have the best possible stack.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement crawlers/API-clients aggregating complex data into comprehensible social network descriptions
  • Architect efficient backend systems driving complex web applications
  • Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver compelling products
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Plan and coordinate data modeling and feature releases
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in envisioning and implementing complex backend systems
  • 5+ years experience architecting and implementing complex user flows on web
  • JavaScript experience including asynchronous programming concepts
  • Python experience including asynchronous programming, meta-programming and scientific python concepts
  • Deep expertise in at least one major web framework such as FastAPI, Flask or Django
