Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable software architecture using Infrastructure as Code. This role will involve working closely with developers from across different teams to create a highly scalable and reliable system on the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and maintain scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for a variety of services
  • Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance and resource utilization
  • Troubleshoot production issues
  • Ensure site reliability of the infrastructure and maintain a disaster recovery plan
  • Document DevOps process and apply practices for Infrastructure as Code
  • Automate processes for deploying new services
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in setting up scalable architectures and systems, with caching, message queues, databases, microservices, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts like pods, services, deployments, and secrets
  • Experience in containerizing applications with Docker
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash
  • At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform (Azure experience preferred and other cloud technologies like AWS)
  • Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices, and Kubernetes networking, and pod security policies
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins

The ideal candidate for this role will have good problem-solving skills and strong communication skills. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for infrastructure as code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux management. They will lead and manage the technical aspects of the DevOps team on a daily basis.
