Semi Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are offering a challenging and rewarding Semi Senior Accountant role in Lahore. The successful candidate will provide accounting services for our UK-based practice and require excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

This role involves acquiring operational and leadership experience while maintaining client-facing and hands-on accounting responsibilities. Key responsibilities and expectations include:

  • Preparing and submitting year-end accounts, CT600, Corporation, meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy
  • Carrying out tax computations and Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality results
  • Supporting a team of Accountants and a Team Manager to ensure the delivery of a high standard of service, promoting teamwork and collaboration
  • Providing training, coaching and mentoring to apprentices and Junior Accountants, developing their skills and knowledge
  • Conducting quality control and file reviews of colleagues, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and practices
  • Preparing accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax and SATR, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.

Candidate Suitability:

The ideal candidate will have 1.5 -2 years of experience within a UK-based accountancy practice, possess excellent English communication skills, and hold a Part-qualified/ Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent qualification.
