Senior Python Developer Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team.

This is an onsite role in Lahore, with a remittance salary.

About the Role
  • This position involves designing and developing scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with product management and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • A strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with practical implementation experience, is required.
  • The selected candidate will integrate AI and machine learning algorithms and models into backend systems.
  • Developing APIs and web services to support frontend functionalities and external integrations is also a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will write efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Ongoing application performance optimization and ensuring high availability and reliability are critical aspects of this role.
Job Requirements
  1. Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
  2. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams.
  3. Integrate AI and machine learning algorithms and models.
  4. Develop APIs and web services.
  5. Write efficient code following best practices.
  6. Optimize application performance.
Desirable Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 6 years of professional experience as a Python Developer, focusing on backend development.
  • Proven experience with web applications using Django and Django REST Framework.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Proficiency with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
