Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to spearhead the development of our modern backend infrastructure.

  • Create and maintain modular, scalable microservices using NestJS, integrating with PostgreSQL for efficient data management and storage.
  • Design secure, well-documented RESTful APIs, utilizing OAuth2/JWT for authentication and authorization.
  • Implement event-driven communication through NATS or Redis Pub/Sub, ensuring seamless data exchange between services.

Our ideal candidate will be an expert in containerization with Docker, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency across environments. They will also possess experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, along with deploying microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Pub/Sub. Proficiency in Terraform for defining infrastructure as code is also required.

A successful Backend Engineer will ensure system reliability, observability, and scalability through structured logging, metrics monitoring, and error tracking.

  • Expertise in NestJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Terraform, and GCP services.
  • Experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable microservices.
  • Strong understanding of event-driven communication and API design principles.
