Software Quality Assurance Lead

Test lead is responsible for efficiently leading a team of testers to meet product goals and organization objectives.

  1. A strong software testing background with a passion for software quality assurance is essential.
  2. The ideal candidate should be able to generate technical documents, including test plans and cases, use cases, etc.
  3. Strong SQL query writing skills are required for data retrieval, saving, and updating.
  4. Prioritizing tasks based on project criticality is a key responsibility.
  5. Creativity and expertise in developing test automation scripts and programs are necessary.
  6. Identifying and opening defects during manual or automated testing is crucial.
  7. Daily status reports on test case and defect metrics are a vital part of the job.
  8. Owning the quality of the shipped product is a significant responsibility.
  9. Task assignment and team management fall under this role's responsibilities.
  10. Manual and automated software testing expertise is necessary.
  11. Developing and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure is a critical task.
  12. Leading teams through functional, regression, system, and interface tests to achieve project goals is essential.
  13. Coordinating meetings with the development team for requirement understanding or bug resolution is an important aspect of this role.
Job Specifications

Mandatory qualifications include a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.

No less than 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance is required.

Familiarity with computers and good organizational skills are essential.

Able to manage time effectively and work independently are key qualities.

Able to recognize and prioritize quality issues, investigate new quality techniques, tools, and technologies, and proficient with IT services are must-haves for this role.
