Research Assistant Opportunity

The Department of Applied Linguistics at Government College University Faisalabad invites applications for the position of Research Assistant. The selected candidate will be part of a project titled "DEVELOPMENT OF THE WORDNET OF SHAHMUKHI PUNJABI LANGUAGE" and assist in the development of a Wordnet for Shahmukhi Punjabi Language.

This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data collection, annotation, literature reviews, data analysis, and interpretation. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills and be enrolled in M.Phil Applied Linguistics within GCUF.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data collection and annotation support for the Wordnet project
  • Conducting literature reviews and providing summaries to the research team
  • Data analysis and interpretation assistance
  • Collaborating with the research team to achieve project objectives
