Job Title: Core Banking Manager

 

This role focuses on leading the implementation of core banking systems, guiding a team of professionals, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet business functional requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategy for core banking implementation, achieving objectives while providing unique services to customers.
  • Deliver IT solutions that fulfill business functional requirements during various implementation phases, such as product walk-throughs, scope studies, product parameterization, testing, issue triaging, business simulations, and production rollouts.
  • Identify gaps, prepare, and review business requirement documents, functional specifications, test plans, etc., with various business functions and vendor teams.
  • Lead the core production implementation function within SLA, schedule, budget, and scope parameters, including testing and overseeing quality and compliance controls throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage the transformation of core banking applications to the next version, leveraging advanced knowledge of functional/technical architecture and experience in managing implementation of digital core.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen and domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
  • Strong organizational, team-building, and leadership qualities.
  • A degree in engineering or postgraduate with 10+ years of experience in FLEXCUBE hands-on experience with product designing and implementation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in FCUBS V11.x to 14.x versions.
  • Experience in core banking application implementation or as a functional consultant or business analyst in core banking is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle process.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience of banking operations, particularly core banking, general ledger, loans, teller operations, payments, trade finance, and other related banking channels.
  • Manual testing of banking software applications is a plus.
  • Digital core transformation projects are an added advantage.
