Senior Plumbing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations department, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across our campus.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and experience with large-scale plumbing projects. You will be working independently and as part of a team to ensure that all plumbing systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair piping, valves, faucets, fixtures, and drains.
  • Maintain wastewater treatment systems.
  • Assemble and install various plumbing materials such as iron, steel, glass, copper, and plastic.
  • Respond to emergency and trouble calls throughout the hospital.
Requirements:
  • Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma in Plumbing preferred.
  • 2-3 years post-apprenticeship training required.
  • Journeyman Plumber license preferred; Master Plumber license preferred.
  • ASSE 6010 Installer Certification; ASME IX Brazer Certification/Medical Gas Brazer.

Additional Information:

This position requires strong knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing codes and the ability to read blueprints. The successful candidate should also possess physical strength and be able to lift over seventy pounds occasionally.
