Job Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager at Architecture in Motion Inc., you will be responsible for leading complex projects from initiation to completion. This involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure project alignment with business objectives and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop project plans that outline key deliverables, timelines, and resources.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones are met.
    • Collaborate with clients to ensure project alignment with their needs.
    • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication on project progress and deliverables.
    • Proactively address client concerns and provide timely solutions.
    • Conduct regular status meetings with clients to keep them informed.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead and motivate project teams to foster a collaborative environment.
    • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to support their growth.
    • Ensure clear roles, tasks, and accountability within the team.
    • Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify project risks early, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
    • Maintain a risk register to communicate key risks to stakeholders.
    • Address project roadblocks promptly to maintain project momentum.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic goals.
    • Provide regular updates and reporting on project status and performance metrics.
    • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to drive success across multiple workstreams.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with client expectations.
    • Regularly review project outcomes and implement improvements as needed.
  • Change Management:
    • Effectively manage change requests, communicating and implementing them within the project plan.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to handle changes in scope while managing timelines and resources.

Key Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience managing complex projects, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role.
  • Proven expertise in managing diverse teams across various disciplines.
  • Exceptional client management skills, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve results.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring minimal impact on project deliverables.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.

  • Experience managing global teams across different time zones.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve under pressure.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and software development processes.
