We are seeking highly qualified researchers to perform peer reviews for academic journals and publishers.

This is a part-time job that offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a balance between your professional and personal life.

Required Qualifications
  • A doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area is required.
  • Applicants must have published at least six papers in reputable SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the past three years.
  • Additionally, applicants should have published at least twenty-five papers in these journals over the past decade.
  • A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as strong written communication skills, are necessary for providing clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Applicants should be able to adhere to deadlines and manage their time effectively.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and objectivity is crucial for this role.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems is also advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Novelty: Assess whether the manuscript presents original and impactful research that adds new knowledge or insights to the field of study.
  • Study Design and Methodology: Evaluate whether the study design and methods are comprehensive, clearly described, and suitable for accurately reproducing the research in the future.
  • Literature Review: Ensure that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research in the field.
  • Results and Conclusions: Analyze whether the results are presented clearly and appropriately, and whether the conclusions are supported by the data and significant to the field.
  • Providing Constructive Feedback: Provide actionable suggestions for improvement or highlight any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend Publication: Based on your evaluation, the journal editor will decide whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
