Database Security Expert

This role requires a strong background in database security and analytics. The ideal candidate will have at least 8-10 years of experience in implementing monitoring and protection solutions, developing and assessing database security requirements, and performing timely patching of Guardium appliances.

The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing database auditing and monitoring, including Guardium appliance sizing, architecture, user management, policy, alert, and report management. They will also generate vulnerability assessment reports to facilitate patching and resolution by DBAs and system administrators.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with system administrators for provisioning and optimizing Guardium appliances, defining database security requirements for new projects, and monitoring user behavior and identifying risks through active threat analytics.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information/Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university (4 years)
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Database Security and Database Analytics
