Flatbread Specialist

The Chapatti Maker is responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including chapattis, naan, parathas, and puris. This role requires effective utilization of resources to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and hygiene/safety in the bakery/kitchen.

• Receive flour as per requirement and examine its quality; reject if found substandard.
• Prepare Dough Mix and make loaves from it as per production requirement.
• Handle/report to the duty supervisor regarding substandard ingredients or any subsequent leftovers.
• Clean the dough mixer and other equipment/utensils, ensuring a clean and tidy kitchen is handed over to the next shift staff.
• Produce daily and next day requirements of the cycle menu or special event requirements as directed by the supervisor.
• Prepare baked goods as needed.
• Ensure the safety and hygienic condition of the bakery/kitchen and report damages/waste, and theft to the duty supervisor.
• Report food safety and other complaints/problems to the immediate duty supervisor or cook team leader.
• Perform all related tasks assigned by the duty supervisor.
