Job Description

This is a hands-on role primarily focused on enhancing our quality assurance test automation framework and developing automated test cases. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers to improve productivity and testing execution time, ensuring that we are shipping the highest quality software possible.

You will participate in the validation and sign-off for all product software releases, working closely with and incorporating feedback from the Products and Engineering teams.

  • Define test strategy, create test plans, author test cases, and perform test execution to support ongoing product releases.
  • Perform analysis to identify root cause for any defects identified during the release validation process.
  • Design, Implement UI, API, and Backend Automation Frameworks to eliminate regressions and enable high-quality product releases.
  • Define and implement QA process to optimize and scale testing within the product.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience planning, designing, executing tests for enterprise cloud-based services.
  • Familiarity with Big Data systems like Apache Spark/Hadoop/Distributed systems.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git or version control software.
Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
  • Good communication skills with experience in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
