• Environment, Health and Safety
• Lead safety initiatives as a role model, translating company health and safety policy into procedures for the engineering department.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements and ensure employee safety, ensuring environmental sustainability in engineering activities.
• Implement ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, PMI QMS, AWS standards.

• Management Arrangements
• Develop and monitor EHS management systems and programs, continuously improving processes to protect people, environment, and business.
• Communicate effectively and replicate best practices.

• Risk Management
• Execute proactive loss prevention programs, including risk assessment and control, monitoring implementation to reduce health, safety, and environmental risks.
• Stay updated on latest safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with medical doctors to address workplace health issues.

• Training
• Develop and implement EHS training modules, maintaining training records and continuously improving trainings.

• Performance and Reporting
• Provide timely reporting of EHS performance indicators.

• Projects
• Participate in EHS projects, integrating EHS requirements in design and construction, monitoring equipment certification and reducing waste and emissions.

• Incident Management and Emergency Preparedness
• Coordinate accident investigations and emergency preparedness programs.

• Performance Improvement
• Suggest solutions to improve EHS performance and achieve targets, participating in affiliate budget exercises and supervising project execution.

Who We're Looking For:

• University degree in Engineering, preferably in Sustainability subjects.
• 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing with detailed understanding of legal requirements and applicable standards.
• Fluent English and local language knowledge.
• PC literate (Word, Excel, Ppt).
• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 knowledge.
• NEBOSH certifications.
