Overall Job Description:

This role requires limited experience in the field of cyber security. The primary responsibility is to protect AT&T, its customers, and vendors/partners from cyber threats across various areas such as products, services, infrastructure, networks, and applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members on projects related to device protection, customer data, assets, information technology, and network security. Key tasks include ideation, testing, proof of concept, analysis of complex security issues, and development of policies to minimize network intrusion and malware events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cyber incident response and analysis
  2. Cyber product testing and validation
  3. Cyber risk assessment and strategic planning
  4. Development of security policies and procedures
  5. Identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilities
  6. Forward-looking research and strategy for strengthening cyber security defenses

Area of Expertise: Cyber security professionals will have extensive knowledge of threat detection, prevention, and response. They should be well-versed in technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.

Job Requirements: A degree in computer science or a related field, combined with relevant work experience in the field of cyber security. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
