Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Android developer to join our development team. As an Android developer at Creative Chaos, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform.

  • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using best practices and design principles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs to enhance application functionality
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
  2. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new features
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and best practices
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during development and deployment
  5. Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a reputable university
  • 2-3 years of experience in Android app development or mobile app development
  • Strong knowledge of Google's Android design principles and guidelines
  • Working knowledge of emerging mobile technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Good time management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Kotlin and Java programming languages
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Android platform SDKs and commonly applied 3rd party and open source libraries
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and best practices for interacting with remote services
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Knowledge of computer algorithms and data structures
