Job Description

We are seeking a talented Junior Finance Specialist to assist our Finance Manager in implementing company finance policies, evaluating administrative staff performance, maintaining financial records, and performing other related administrative/financial functions.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field from an accredited university, with a minimum of 0-1 years of experience in finance in well-reputed organizations.

The successful candidate will possess knowledge of accounting and finance principles and assist the Finance Manager in achieving the overall efficient operation of the department and ensuring the company has a thorough understanding of its financial situation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in developing and implementing administrative and financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance appraisals of personnel and probation completion sessions for the administrative department.
  • Initiate disciplinary actions through investigation and resolve issues or grievances among team members or administrative staff.
  • Manage and supervise all resources and functions related to finance within the department.
  • Prepare reports and analysis based on provided data.
  • Assist with preparing cash books and bank statements.
  • Support the preparation of salaries and benefits.
  • Participate in monthly/yearly closing processes.
  • Review expenses, payroll records, and other assigned tasks.
  • Communicate regularly with bank representatives.
  • Oversee daily office administrative activities.
  • Implement policies and procedures for lower staff to ensure fair use of company assets, code of ethics, and company policies.
  • Supervise and ensure quality work of office support staff regarding finance.
  • Monitor security staff and ensure the safety of office stock and assets.
  • Handle external affairs and correspondence.
  • Purchase supplies and materials for the company.
  • Update financial data in databases to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
