Accounts and Taxation Specialist

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing critical support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Payments: Prepare and submit monthly income tax payment challans, brokerage tax payment challans, and vendor WHT payment challans.
  • Payroll Processing: Process monthly payrolls, including EOBI & SEESI deductions.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain daily expenses, receipts, and payments records.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Ensure accurate bank reconciliations and petty cash handling.
  • Accounts Management: Manage ledger accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer invoices, and expense vouchers.
  • Internal Audit: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Additional Duties:
  • Reconciliation of Accounts: Reconcile customer/supplier accounts on a monthly basis.
  • JV Preparation: Prepare journal vouchers for cash payments and bank payments.
  • Debtor Management: Control debtors and prepare debtor ledgers.
  • Salary Management: Oversee monthly salary management.

The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out additional tasks assigned by the Manager Accounts/Finance. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-saving measures. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with financial software systems.

Responsibilities Summary:

  • Analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
