Ecommerce Director

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Director to join our team, responsible for developing and executing ecommerce strategies that drive business growth.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ecommerce management, with expertise in scaling online stores and managing marketplace sales in European and U.S. markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ecommerce Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of ecommerce strategies for clients, aligned with their business objectives.
• Website and Marketplace Sales: Provide strategic direction for clients ecommerce websites, marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay), and other sales platforms.
• Team Management and Collaboration: Lead and guide the team of virtual assistants assigned to ecommerce clients, ensuring they work collaboratively to meet the clients goals.
• Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitors online strategies, emerging trends, and digital marketing techniques in the ecommerce sector.
• Client Relationship and Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing consistent updates on project status, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for ecommerce clients and consistently track performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of proven experience in ecommerce management, with a strong focus on both website and marketplace sales (e.g., Amazon, eBay) in European and U.S. markets.
• Experience working with international clients and managing cross-border ecommerce operations.
• A solid understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.), and marketplaces.
