MERN Stack Developer (Full-Stack Engineer)

Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications using the MERN stack.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Web Application Development
    • Design and develop robust web applications with high traffic handling capabilities.
    • Optimize application performance and responsiveness to meet business needs.
    • Implement effective data storage solutions using MongoDB.
  • Front-end and Back-end Integration
    • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing components with server-side logic.
    • Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between client and server.
    • Utilize React.js for dynamic user interfaces and Node.js/Express.js for efficient backend systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging
    • Identify and resolve application issues through thorough troubleshooting.
    • Use debugging tools and systematic testing methodologies to ensure application functionality under various conditions.
  • API Development and Integration
    • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for building and integrating backend services.
    • Integrate third-party APIs for features like payment gateways, social media, and messaging services.
    • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in MERN development.
  • Proficiency in React, Next, Remix, SSR, and SSG.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and Monorepo structure.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux.
  • Continuous learning and professional development.
