Job Summary:

Medical Officer

A Medical Officer is a key member of our medical team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients in various settings, including wards and emergency rooms.
  • Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for admitted patients.
  • Manage laboring patients and perform vaginal deliveries, including vacuum deliveries.
  • Undertake certain medical procedures as advised by consultants within your level of experience and competence.
  • Remain on hospital premises whilst on duty and ensure continuous cover during shifts.
  • Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, particularly those relating to Health and Safety at Work.
  • Develop effective interpersonal relationships with staff, patients, and families.
