Faisalabad City Tehsil, Pakistan The Educators Bazil Campus Full time

The primary focus of this position is to oversee the financial management of The Educators Bazil Campus. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to school leadership, board of directors, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Budget Management: Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the school's budget, including tracking expenses and revenue, and making recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  • Grant Management: Manage grants effectively, including preparing grant applications and reports, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and prepare cash forecasts to ensure that the school has adequate funds to meet its financial obligations.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a school or nonprofit setting.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and nonprofit accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Excel or similar programs.
Working Conditions:

The Accountant works in an office setting and is subject to the normal risks associated with working in an office environment. The Accountant may be required to work outside of normal office hours to meet deadlines or attend meetings.
