Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day sales tax related tasks for all North American businesses under Perseus Group.
  • Contribute to the US Sales Tax department at Contour Office and ensure compliance with US sales and use tax regulations and handling of GST/HST (Canada) and VAT (European) and GST (Australian) matters.
  • Perform existing sales tax filings process, tax rate updates, reconciliations, and data analysis.
  • Conduct Sales Tax Nexus study, product taxability and implementation of changes required to indirect tax compliance processes as a result of changes to indirect tax legislation.
  • Perform sales tax research using Bloomberg and other tax tools to keep entities up to date with recent changes.
  • Run regular control reports to confirm journal entry transactions are posted accurately.
