Project Management Office Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to support our Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will assist in drafting PMO policies and procedures aligned with PMI guidelines and help develop standardized project templates to support project managers. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational project management background and a keen interest in governance and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining PMO policies, procedures, and frameworks in alignment with PMI guidelines.
  • Develop and refine project templates, reports, and documentation for project managers to streamline project execution.
  • Support PMO governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with standardized project management methodologies.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking project performance through reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure consistency in project planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Maintain PMO documentation, records, and knowledge repositories to ensure accessibility and standardization.
  • Participate in project audits and reviews to ensure adherence to PMO policies and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO by identifying process enhancements.
  • Provide administrative support to PMO leadership, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and compiling reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a PMO or project management role.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Familiarity with PMI guidelines and PMO best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) would be preferred.
