Protector of Assets

As a security officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the assigned area. This includes ensuring the safety of visitors, faculty, students, and employees.

You will also assist with visitor flow control, parking management, and emergency response. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking ID cards to control unauthorized movement and responding to emergency calls from the control room or adjoining posts.

• Ensure safe and secure environment to all visitors, faculty, students and employees within the perimeter of his assigned area;
• Assist visitors, faculty, students and employees when called for security assistance;
• Control traffic and parking ensuring smooth flow of traffic and parking discipline;
• Control visitor flow by checking identity to ensure adherence to instructions & orders in vogue and control of unauthorized persons;
• Check ID cards of staff, faculty and students to control unauthorized movement;
• Respond to emergency calls from control room, adjoining posts & SIRC.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience as trained soldier/combatant or civilian with at least two years security experience.
• Efficiency in handling small arms i.e. Rifles and Pistols.
• Ability to drive preferred.
• Must be able to read and write fluently.
• Physically fit & in good health.
