As a District Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will be responsible for providing supervision in inpatient and outpatient areas, performing daily team rounds, formulating cure plans, and expediting discharges on a daily basis in consultation with senior faculty members.

The role requires the development and implementation of a quality-based system with an academic and service model embedded in it. You will teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates according to defined standards and curriculum.

You will also formulate quality initiatives for the units and present them at various platforms under the guidance of faculty members. Additionally, you will contribute to patient complaint reviews and case review systems/root cause analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior medical staff
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to education and training programs
