Director Technical/Project Manager

We are a leading software house seeking an accomplished professional to join our team as Director Technical/Project Manager. Ideally, we look for someone who has the courage, knowledge, and ambition to launch their own software venture.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Promote and coordinate technical knowledge sharing within the organization.
  2. Establish, communicate, and enforce coding standards.
  3. Identify reusable code for our code library and ensure high-quality creation.
  4. Manage the technical team within project schedule constraints.
  5. Monitor and identify opportunities to improve methodology and training.
  6. Handle day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple or large-scale projects.
  7. Anticipate clients' needs and propose alternative business solutions.
Job Specification
  1. Apply complex database concepts to establish standards across project teams.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects.
  3. Supervise managers working on client engagements within the practice.
  4. Review high-level deliverables across projects.
  5. Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in line with our methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of consulting engagements based on customer satisfaction.
  6. Manage scope and mitigate risk across projects.
  7. Communicate sensitive information tactfully.
  8. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
  9. Challenge others to develop leadership skills while clarifying roles and responsibilities.
  10. Become an expert in our industry and convey knowledge to others.
  11. Address difficult personnel situations directly, using discretion, advice, and respect for the individual.
