Graphic Designer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute creative assets including video content, animations, digital banners, social media graphics, website and app elements, email templates, print collateral, and more.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand's visual identity ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas to the table translating concepts into captivating videos & designs that align with project objectives.
  • Master the art of layout and typography to create aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance content readability and engagement.
  • Edit and manipulate images to achieve the desired visual impact while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in the industry to ensure that our designs remain innovative and relevant.
  • Develop a key understanding of the brand and its design/creative philosophy and add to it.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, content, and development to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery of design assets.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion and adherence to project deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or Computer Science.
  • 3-4 years of professional experience as an animator preferably in an agency setting showcasing a diverse portfolio of work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to feedback from various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving design trends and emerging technologies in the graphic design field.
  • Proven expertise in creating visually stunning designs with a deep understanding of colour theory, composition, and layout principles.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
