HVAC Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC professional to fill this critical role.

• Spearhead the installation of new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety protocols, ensuring seamless maintenance operations that align with blueprints or engineering requirements.
• Maintain and perform engineering transformation of the HVAC system to guarantee safe and economical operation of equipment by formulating HVAC standard operating procedures (SOP) and supervising implementation.
• Develop and execute equipment annual maintenance plans, monthly maintenance schedules, and spare parts requisitions for the HVAC system, arranging timely system maintenance and transformation work.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and approving construction plans, including goals, objectives, work breakdown structures, detailed scope descriptions, detailed schedules, risk management approaches, milestone descriptions, shop drawings, as-built drawings, budgets, and staffing requirements.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient functioning of HVAC equipment by providing technical leadership in design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Establish schedules and methods for troubleshooting operational issues and review operations associated with power plants, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure routine general inspections of electrical & electronics machinery, equipment, and its maintenance.
• Identify and execute mechanical system preventative maintenance procedures, such as changing air filters and belts, greasing bearings, and cleaning ducts, coils, and condensation pans.
• Participate in procurement of generators, air conditioning, HVAC, electrical appliances, and required assets through established tendering systems.
• Prepare bills, purchase requisitions, internal requisitions, vouchers, and ensure availability of spares for maintenance purposes.
• Prepare draft technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), scope of work of capital items, including evaluation & inspection.
• Manage maintenance activities related to HVAC systems, lifts, electrical, and electronics devices & equipment.
• Plan HVAC upgradation projects by determining specifications; selecting contractors; establishing installation schedules; planning shutdowns and installations; integrating requirements with architectural and mechanical designs; verifying code requirements; and updating cost estimates.
• Perform audits on all HVAC systems, collect data, perform periodic evaluations, monitor logbooks, manage change processes, and resolve issues.
• Manage operation and maintenance of chillers and install and maintain dehumidification systems, oversee all maintenance activities.
• Analyze load programs and perform required calculations on same, manage electrical requirements for HVAC equipment, recommend improvements.
• Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
• Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
• Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
