Job Title:

Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational activities of the finance department, ensuring the efficient operation of financial systems and procedures, and supervising staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the operational activities of the finance department, including processing revenue, expenditure, control documents, department/SU budgets, ledger and account maintenance, and data entry.
  2. Continuously monitor systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the finance department.
  3. Analyze and document business processes and problems, and develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.
  4. Direct staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports.
  5. Supervise department staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Schedule and conduct department meetings.
  7. Responsible to meet department productivity and annual goals.
  8. Oversee daily cash position and operations of the finance department.
  9. Responsible for preparation of monthly financial reports and hold monthly financial review meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical skills, strong communication skills, decision-making skills, and the ability to juggle complex multiple priorities and work well independently with little administrative support. You will also need to have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, as well as a good understanding of strategic financial management, financial operational strategy development, treasury operations, budgeting operations, financial reporting and analysis, international accounting standards, and automated accounting management systems and campus management system.
