Medical Director - Regional Operations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified medical professional to oversee regional medical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical management, including staff oversight and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Staff Management: Manage medical staff within the region, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with medical policies and procedures for the region.
  • Employee Health and Wellness: Collaborate with other departments to promote employee health and wellness initiatives, including wellness programs and health education.
  • Quality Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the quality of medical services provided within the region, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external healthcare providers and vendors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations on medical activities and outcomes for senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and industry standards related to medical operations and employee health.
  • Direct Supervision: Conduct regular visits to medical centers for direct supervision as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks under their management/ownership.
  • HSEQ Implementation: Implement company standards and practices for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) to ensure safety and well-being of employees and protection of the work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a medical degree, at least 9 years of experience in a similar role, and certification with MCPS. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this position.
