Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role involves working with both front-end and back-end development to build and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and Next.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and Design: Utilize Ruby on Rails and Next.js to design, develop, and deploy new web applications.
  • System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  • Code Quality and Best Practices: Write and maintain clean, reliable code that adheres to best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Back-end Components and APIs: Develop and maintain back-end components using RoR and Next.js, including API development for data exchange between systems.
  • Integration and Scalability: Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team into the application and connect applications with additional web servers to enhance scalability.

Requirements:

  • Experience and Technical Knowledge:
    • 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and Next.js.
    • Familiarity with other common libraries and frameworks.
    • Good understanding of Ruby/JavaScript syntax and nuances, solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, and familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs.
    • Proficient in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, basic knowledge of server-side templating languages and CSS preprocessors like Sass/Less.
  • Problem-Solving and Integration:
    • Ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks in code, integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system, and design database schemas to support business processes.

    • Proficient in Git and other version control tools, familiarity with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
