Biomedical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our team. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing assigned tasks and jobs independently.

• Diagnose faults in medical equipment, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Read schematic and service manuals for repair and maintenance work, applying expert knowledge to complex problems.
• Understand local regulations and compliance related to the healthcare industry, staying up-to-date with changing standards.
• Communicate effectively through reports and email, clearly conveying technical information to various stakeholders.
• Perform preventive maintenance of medical equipment, scheduling routine checks to prevent downtime.
• Inspect new equipment and spares upon arrival at the hospital, verifying quality and functionality.
• Provide technical assistance to end-users on equipment usage and safety aspects, ensuring seamless integration into daily operations.
• Travel to off-campus locations when required, adapting to diverse environments and situations.

In addition to troubleshooting, installation, calibration, and maintenance, this role involves understanding safety aspects related to environmental conditions and electrical requirements for medical equipment.
