Highly Skilled Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets. Manage project dependencies and critical paths.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams of software engineers, systems analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and other technical professionals. Foster collaboration and empower team members to achieve their best work.
3. Technical Oversight: Ensure the technical feasibility of project plans and solutions. Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications, systems integrations, and data-driven solutions.
4. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Monitor and address technical issues and bugs promptly.
5. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively. Gather and incorporate feedback to enhance project outcomes.
6. Client-Facing Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and goals, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Risk and Budget Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to project timelines, quality, or budget. Manage project budgets and optimize resource utilization.
8. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track project performance using relevant metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, budget variance, customer satisfaction). Prepare comprehensive project reports for stakeholders.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation within the technology project management framework. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. Strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of software development, systems integration, and data-related technologies. Experience with cloud computing, machine learning, or other cutting-edge technologies is a plus.
3. 5+ years of proven experience managing technology projects, with exposure to software development, systems integration, and data-oriented initiatives.
4. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum). PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is a plus.
5. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Basecamp, Trello).
6. Knowledge of data analytics, AI concepts, and data engineering principles; familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Adaptability and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
11. Basic understanding of programming concepts and database technologies.
