Senior Software Quality Assurance Automation Professional

As a Senior SQA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of our applications by designing and implementing robust automated test scripts.
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior SQA Automation Engineer. This position requires a strong background in software testing and automation, with expertise in developing and maintaining high-quality automated test scripts.
Key Responsibilities- Automated Test Script Development: Design and implement high-quality automated test scripts to cover a wide range of test scenarios, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Testing Best Practices: Implement and adhere to testing best practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), to ensure seamless deployment and testing processes.
- Automation Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend automation tools and frameworks that align with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are met and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage through automation.
- Application Optimization: Ensure the application is fully optimized for performance and security, tackling challenging technical issues related to automation, troubleshooting, and resolving complex problems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or Computer Science.
- Proven track record (4+ years) as a Test Automation Engineer with a focus on automation framework development and scripting.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins Pipeline etc.
- Strong 'hands-on' experience developing software tests for functional, performance, and regression testing, including automated and ad-hoc testing elements.
- 4+ years' experience with focus on Automation Testing using TestNG, Selenium & Cypress.
- Good knowledge of API testing tools and techniques, including Postman, and JMeter.
- Background working with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Familiarity with database testing, including SQL queries and database validation.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and best practices.
- Relevant certifications in Cypress and Selenium.
