Hematology Consultant

Aga Khan University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Hematology Professional to join its esteemed team of medical experts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert hematological care, interpreting laboratory results, and participating in quality audits and initiatives. With a strong commitment to education and research, the successful applicant will contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals.

• Interpretation of laboratory results, including routine and special hematology tests
• Participation in institutional continuing medical education (CME) programs
• Active participation in quality audits and initiatives, such as CAP accreditation
• Contribution to departmental administrative committees
• Representing the department at sectional, departmental, institutional, national, and international meetings

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A MBBS degree with FCPS/FRCPath/American Board certification or equivalent
• Training as a fellow or equivalent in a reputable institution, with a minimum of 4 years' experience
• Demonstrated scholarship through research or publication in peer-reviewed journals or significant contributions to education
