We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Estate and Administrative Trust team.


About the Role:
  • This position involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing fiduciary income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a book of business and/or supervising the production of tax return preparation by associate tax preparers.
  • The role requires utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform to deliver exceptional client service.
  • The incumbent will communicate proactively with management regarding potential issues, contributing to the resolution before escalation and aiding in the enhancement of the team's tax technical acumen.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years of recent public accounting and/or experience working with income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates is required.
  • The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, information technology, data and analytics, engineering (financial, industrial or systems) or related fields; accounting and taxation is preferred.
  • The successful candidate must have or be pursuing the state-specific education requirements to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) in the principal place of business.
  • Experience using Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and intermediate knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code as it relates to trusts and estates is essential.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills are required; the ability to work independently and manage assigned account load efficiently is also necessary.
