Job Responsibilities
  • Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns.
  • Prepare and file year-end accounts.

This role involves working with UK-based clients, ensuring accurate financial records and timely submissions. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA or CIMA.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UK accounting regulations, including VAT and CIS requirements. They will also have experience with financial software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. They will also be highly adaptable, with a flexible approach to changing priorities and workload demands.
