Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Project Management

  • Led and managed WordPress development projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate sprints, planning sessions, and stand-ups in an Agile environment to facilitate project progress.
  • Create and maintain project timelines, task breakdowns, and resource allocation.

Leadership and Mentoring

  • Provide guidance and support to junior WordPress developers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment to promote teamwork, effective communication, and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to ensure quality and functionality of deliverables.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members to set them up for success in WordPress development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
  • Proven experience in managing WordPress projects in an Agile environment, including sprint planning and tracking.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers effectively.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL for WordPress development.
  • Strong experience in theme and plugin development and customization.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party services with WordPress.
  • In-depth knowledge of responsive design principles and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab for version control and code collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues promptly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in WordPress development or additional training in web development are a plus.
