Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Web Application Developer with strong expertise in PHP/MySQL. The ideal candidate will have experience working with open source tools and technologies, including Codeigniter/MVC, Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, and Open Cart.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating custom web applications when needed, helping to define requirements for new projects, taking the lead in planning and developing new small-to-mid size PHP/MySQL web apps for clients, theme creation & plug-in customization, testing secure, clean, and well-commented code, normalization of database and database design, and handling large scale application development.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong knowledge of PHP5 and MySQL5/Object Oriented Programming, as well as proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, XML, AJAX, jQuery, and JavaScript. Experience with version control systems such as Git is also highly desirable.
