About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to assume a key position within our organization's dynamic threat detection and response team.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of information security, incident response, and threat analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM systems, to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner, utilizing advanced threat intelligence to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Analyse security logs to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, generating regular reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely resolution of security incidents and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Develop and implement detection rules and signatures to enhance threat detection capabilities.
  • Participate in regular security awareness training and contribute to the enhancement of SOC processes, procedures, and technologies.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities, providing recommendations for remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a SOC Analyst or in a similar cybersecurity role, with a strong background in security principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and other relevant security solutions.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
