Key Responsibilities

1. Algorithm Development: Develop and refine algorithms to enhance our capabilities, with a particular focus on spatial data presentation using GIS.
2. Software Design and Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications according to specifications.
3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
4. Code Quality and Maintenance: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate software development methodologies. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
5. Issue Resolution: Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
6. Architecture and Design Discussions: Participate in architecture and design discussions to propose and implement solutions that align with business goals.
7. Integration and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and resolve integration issues.
8. Emerging Technologies and Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices.
9. Comprehensive Test Plans: Collaborate with other assurance engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.

1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Cloud and Edge Computing: Proficiency in creating applications for the cloud and edge.
3. Cloud Computing Platforms: Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services.
4. Edge Computing Concepts: Familiarity with edge computing concepts and technologies, such as CDN, caching, and edge caching.
5. DevOps Experience: Prior DevOps experience.
6. ROS Software: Experience with ROS software and methodologies is a plus.
7. Programming Languages: Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
8. Software Development Principles: Strong understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies.
