Structural Design Engineer Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer with expertise in structural analysis and design, particularly in residential, commercial, or industrial building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of structural software and be able to develop and review structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications for buildings and infrastructure projects.
  • Perform structural analysis of steel, concrete, and composite structures using relevant software.
  • Evaluate designs against international codes & standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project teams to integrate structural requirements.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Conduct structural stability and feasibility studies for proposed designs.
  • Provide technical support during construction, addressing site queries and design modifications.
  • Carry out load calculations and prepare structural models accordingly.
  • Promote value engineering and cost-effective design solutions without compromising safety.
  • Participate in design review meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors.
  • Maintain documentation of design reports, calculations, and revisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in structural design engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis & design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit Structure preferred).
  • Practical experience in reinforced concrete & steel design.
  • Familiarity with seismic and wind design requirements.
  • Proven track record of working on residential, commercial, or industrial building projects.
  • Ability to coordinate with site teams for design clarifications and ensure execution as per design.
  • Good understanding of international and local building codes.
