Job Description

The Senior Software Architect will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet the company's objectives.

  • Designing and developing software solutions using current industry standards, including exporting data from existing applications to new ones.
  • Developing accompanying mobile applications to web applications, with the option to adopt a cross-platform approach or develop native platform-specific applications.
  • Developing detailed software design and documenting requirements, including conducting System Requirements Analysis (SRA).
Key Responsibilities
  1. Porting and migrating an existing web application to current industry standards, including exporting data from the old application to the new one.
  2. Writing code with unit tests and conducting requirements testing.
  3. Deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, bug-fixing, and providing support for web and mobile applications.
  4. Creating technical documentation of technical specifications, outlining variables, functions, and methods used, along with an Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) specifying database relations and a step-by-step explanation of the code.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field, with a mastery of programming, UI/UX design, customization of software, and relevant skills. Experienced candidates without a degree may be considered.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development in a particular technology stack, with at least 3+ years of experience as a software architect/manager/team lead.
  • Excellent development and architecture skills with a solid grasp of web development.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development life cycle best practices, as well as extensive analytical and troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with Agile and SCRUM.
  • Familiarity with dependency/package managers, templating engines, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM), as well as version control/source control systems and platforms.
  • Solid technical documentation skills and a portfolio of live/demoable applications is a plus.

This is a full-time remote position with occasional physical/online meetings and office consultations.
