Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics department. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our logistics efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with carriers, shipping lines, and other logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. They will also develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality. Additionally, they will monitor and manage the performance of logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Other key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards. The candidate will also manage relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise. They will prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Furthermore, they will lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • The candidate must also have a minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and logistics practices is essential.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are also required, as well as excellent negotiation and communication skills.
