Marketing Officer Role

Himalayan Wildlife Foundation is seeking a Marketing Officer to drive marketing strategies and promote tourism destinations, community-based paying guest facilities, and services in Neelum Valley.

The role includes conducting market research, creating marketing campaigns and materials, managing digital marketing and social media platforms, and collaborating with tourism stakeholders and industry partners. The officer will also oversee business operations, maintain communications with host families for room bookings, and provide website updates.

Job Specification
  • Masters/Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or Tourism Management.
  • At least 2 years' experience in relevant field.
  • Excellent command over written and spoken English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase visibility and appeal of tourist destinations.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Create engaging marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Manage digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with tourism stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Oversight of business operations.
  • Maintain communications with host families for room bookings.
  • Provide website updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Tourism Management.
  • At least two years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a remote area.
